  • LVHC Guidelnes

The Lebanon Valley Hiking Club has put together some guidelines to ensure safety and a great experience for everyone.

Meeting Location: The group leader will set the meeting location and share these details in the Trail Trotter’s Times schedule.

Transportation: If you need a ride or wish to carpool, please contact the group leader for these details to be arranged.

Event Registration: All participants should register for the event they are interested in. This helps the group leader not only prepare the headcount, but allows for needed communication if event details change. Additionally, all participants to an event are required to sign in with the group leader through the sign-in sheet.

Pets: Reach out to the group leader to confirm if pets are allowed on the event.

Leave No Trace: LVHC practices Leave No Trace. Make yourself aware of the 7 principles and pack out what you pack in, please.

  • Be Prepared

LVHC events are led by group leaders and events are rated by the group leader to the level of difficulty. This helps to ensure that the event you sign up for is manageable for you and you know what you are getting into. Always reach out to the group leader if you have any questions.
